VCC Emergencies Ministry stands in solidarity with the Jewish community and all those affected. It is utterly unacceptable that people of any ethnicity or religion feel unsafe celebrating who they are. Australia is built on multiculturalism, tolerance, and freedom of belief. Violence, terror, and intimidation have no place here.
We are praying for the victims, their families, first responders, and the wider community, for comfort in this time of grief and loss, and profound sorrow.
We pray that light, peace and justice will prevail.
